Brandon Knight might have officially just ended Evan Turner’s career, with a devastating poster dunk on Wednesday night.
After just passing the midway mark of the 4th quarter, the Suns were still trying to get their first win of the season against the Portland Trail Blazers. That’s when Knight decided to put matters into his own hands, by hitting Al-Farouq Aminu with a crossover on his way to the rim. The only thing left to do was for Knight to elevate; leading to a poster dunk on Turner.
Knight’s dunk would give the Suns the needed momentum to catch up to the Trail Blazers, and tie the game at 103. They would later on win the game in OT, thanks to a buzzer beater by Eric Bledsoe over Damian Lillard.

The Suns were able to secure their first win of the season, with Knight contributing 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists to go along with his nasty poster dunk over Turner. Despite the fact that Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 50 points, the Suns showed a unique level of resiliency on their way to beating a playoff team.
They’ll get a chance to continue their winning ways and improve their 1-4 record, when they take on the winless New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 4, at 8:00 p.m. EST.
