Eric Bledsoe FOR THE WIN! https://t.co/ykv6k1Ueyd

The Phoenix Suns were able to come away with their first win of the 2016-17 season, all because of a game-winning shot by Eric Bledsoe against the Portland Trail Blazers in overtime.
In a game that was going to be a battle between the backcourts, Bledsoe got the last laugh by hitting his clutch dagger right over Damian Lillard. There wasn’t much anyone could do, with Bledsoe completing a nasty step-back to his right – to knock down a 3-pointer at the buzzer. It would end up giving the Suns a 118-115 victory, and an opportunity to finally add to their wins column.
It was a great night in the world of sports, mainly because of the Chicago Cubs breaking their 108-year Championship drought. But this shot by Bledsoe will definitely mean more to the people of Phoenix, especially after Bledsoe missed 51 games last season.

Bledsoe continued to be a dynamic force for the Suns against the Trail Blazers, by putting up 20 points on 7-20 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His dagger over Lillard was easily his most impressive play on Wednesday night, and could help this Suns team find their rhythm before it’s too late.
The Suns will get a day of rest before they hit the road and take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 4, with tipoff scheduled at 8:00 p.m. EST.
